Li Keqiang said that the UN has played an important role in maintaining world peace and promoting global development since its founding more than 70 years ago. The current international situation is complex and global challenges keep emerging. World affairs should be handled through consultation among countries around the world. China will work with other countries to contribute to the lasting peace, development and prosperity of human society and promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
