Calling for Entries: 2nd Australia-China International Photography Festival
"In the Twinkling of an Eye-the Past 40 Years and Today"
With the support of Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Brisbane, 2nd Australia-China International Photography Festival, themed "In the Twinkling of an Eye-the Past 40 Years and Today", will be organized in September 2018 by Australia-China Business and Trade Association in collaboration with other local Chinese associations and societies in Queensland , and is open for entries now.
2018 marks the 40th anniversary of China's reform and opening-up policies. The past 40 years have witnessed transformative changes and are of great significance for China and Australia relations, especially for those oversea Chinese in Australia.
Press the shutter to capture wonderful moments and make them eternal. Photography is a great means to promote understanding and enhance the friendly and cooperative relationship between people, governments and enterprises in both countries.
1. Colour and black-and-white images are both accepted. One image per entry. Digital works must be in JPG format. All images shall be attached with titles, brief introductions, authors' names, postal addresses and contact numbers. Please name files in the format of "author's name_title.jpg". Maximum file size is 5MB with at least 2500 pixels on its longest side. Titles and/or one to two lines of description are required. Maximum number of entries per author is limited to 10.
2. All entrants warrant to the organizers that images submitted for the Festival are their sole original work and do not violate or infringe upon any legal rights of any other person or entity, including copyright, portrait right, the right of reputation and privacy, intellectual properties etc. Entrants assume full liability for any legal matters regarding the rights above; the organizers disclaim any liability with respect to this matter. All entrants indemnify the organizers, its members, officers, nominees and representatives from all liability resulting from any infringement by the entrants of any intellectual property rights, or any other legal rights, of a third party.
3. Contributors may submit their works by sending physical photos in the size of A3 to the Organizing Committee, with name, contacts, subject and brief introduction attached. Please be advised that submissions will not be returned  and it is the submitters' liability to keep their original works appropriately.
4. All selected photos are to be displayed in organizers' WeChat groups, websites, WeChat official accounts and Media partners.
On-site exhibition will be arranged at the venue of the Festival (Printing costs may apply to selected works).
Entrants agree that by entering the Festival they authorize the organizers to use their works to promote the Festival, to exhibit, to make public-service ads, and to make photo albums after the event.
5. The organizers reserve the right to interpret this Festival and exhibition at their full and absolute discretion.
